Next, we rolled toward San Gimignano, the town’s legendary towers rising ahead of us like a medieval skyline and easing us straight into a storybook Tuscany.

From saffron-scented shops to sun-washed stone squares (saffron gelato is DELICIOUS), the village delivered instant magic — a burst of hilltop wonder with every turn.
